Business valuation
Business valuation is required for many reasons. Depending on your needs, our team of professionals can prepare a valuation report, which requires a deep understanding of your business’ operations, market, industry and specific context. To this end, we use a variety of valuation methods all of which are recognized by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CACEE).
Several situations may call for a valuation, including:
- Estate planning;
- Corporate reorganization;
- Business acquisition or sale;
- Shareholder agreement;
- Litigation.
Our history allows our team to carry out valuation mandates for different types of companies in a variety of industries. Three types of reports are available, each of which provides a different degree of assurance. Depending on the context and your needs, we can produce the following reports (listed in ascending order of assurance):
- Valuation report on a valuation calculation;
- Valuation report on a valuation estimate;
- Comprehensive valuation report.
