Analyst (Permanent, Brossard)

Role and main functions
We are currently looking for an Analyst for our Brossard office. Under the supervision of a Director, the analyst ensures the execution of various mandates. More specifically, taks will be as follows :
-Execute the sections assigned as part of the assurance mandates by ensuring compliance with and application of the internal methodology;
-Validate the efficiency and effectiveness of internal control processes and systems, if applicable;
-Conduct research and provide interpretations, as required;
-Complete the Provincial and Federal corporate income tax return and tax questionnaire, as required;
-Take stock of the certification mandates, on a daily basis, to the director;
-Ensure that the deadline is respected;
-All other related tasks.
Requirements
-University degree with a professional title (or in the process of being completed);
-Relevant experience in audit, taxation, bookkeping – Asset;
-Basic knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel, etc.);
-Basic knowledge of assurance standards;
-Basic knowledge of accounting and financial reporting requirements at the IFRS, ASPE and NCOSBL level;
-Basic knowledge of the stages of carrying out an accounting audit;
-Fluency in English and French (bilingualism) – Asset.

Tax expert (Permanent, Brossard)

Role and main functions
We are currently looking for a Tax expert to support our team of tax specialists based in our Brossard office. Under the supervision of senior tax professionals, the chosen person will have the following responsabilities:
Support the tax team by helping them achieve various mandates, including the preparation of government forms;
Review notices of assessment and follow up with clients;
Validate the information with the tax authorities and carry out the necessary follow-ups (taxes and consumption taxes);
Prepare tax returns (personal and corporate);
Other duties related to the function.
Profile and requirements
University degree in taxation;
2 to 5 years in an accounting firm – Essential;
Experience in taxation (corporate and individual) – Asset;
Member of Ordre des CPA du Québec, an advantage;
Knowledge of Taxprep software, an advantage;
Fluent in both French and English;
Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
